What Is Social Equity?
Social equity is a term used all too often in the cannabis industry, but each state has a different definition and understanding of what that means.
In the District, it means that the government wants to provide a pathway for those who have been disproportionately harmed by the failed War on Drugs to own a business in the cannabis industry.
During the upcoming qualification period...
During the upcoming application period, qualifying residents of the District will have an opportunity to apply for a social equity license for traditional retail and internet retail.
Although the process is non-competitive, only those that understand the application process and timelines will be able to take advantage of this incredible opportunity.

Watch today and discover if you are eligible and, if so, what you need to do to obtain your license.
